I am a highly trained psychotherapist who will be here for you whether you find yourself up at 3:00AM feeling over whelmed or whether you’ve waiting to realize the life and happiness you truly deserve.
Specializations: In my practice I provide guidance and support for those who struggle with life’s inevitable stressors, career changes, life changes or those feelings of being stuck. I specialize in a range of addictive behaviors such as alcoholism, substance abuse love addiction, relationship and sex addiction. My expertise includes the challenges of overcoming infertility as well as prenatal and postnatal feelings that can cause saddness or self-doubt. I work to create a safe and open environment where we can work together. I am dedicated to providing effective therapy in an atmosphere of honesty, empathy, and trust.
Some Experience: I have worked in this field for 30 years. My experience includes a Work Therapy and Internship Program, a Recovery Oriented Services Program for adults with a history of chronic and persistent mental illness, Supportive Housing for previously homeless adults with difficulties adjusting to housing, mental illness and substance abuse, as well as New York City shelter for homeless adults with mental illness. I also spent several years as a staff therapist at a leading non-profit psychoanalytic institute and counseling center in Manhattan.
